The
IBI has an extensive library on biological invasions consisting of books, journal
articles, government reports, conference proceedings, magazine and newspaper
articles, and other 'gray' literature. We compiled a searchable literature
database using
EndNote 4.0 and Reference Web Poster by Research Information
Systems.
To search the database, enter a
keyword (e.g., taxonomic name, author, etc.),
then click the "Start Search" button.
This is the "Quick Search" option. You can use more than
one Keyword or Author and link words using Boolean terms (e.g., and, or,
not). Note: The Quick Search option will search only
"indexed data" fields (Author, Keyword, Periodical,
and Year). You must perform an Advanced Search if you
want to include "non-indexed" data fields in your search (Title,
Abstract, Address, or Notes) or search in both types of data fields
simultaneously (e.g., words in the Author and Title fields).
To refine your search, click the "Advanced Search" button, and
choose a Boolean term and data field for each search term. Click the
"Help" button on this page (above) if you have any questions or problems,
or contact
Todd Campbell at lizardman@utk.edu if all else
fails.
